What is Polefest?
Polefest is a school PTA‑run community event bringing together families, friends and the local community for an afternoon of fun, food and entertainment. All proceeds go directly towards supporting the school and its pupils.

Dates, times & schedule
When is Polefest?
Polefest will take place on Saturday 4th February.
What time does it start and finish?
The event runs from 12:00 noon to 19:00. Entry is welcome throughout the day.
Do I have to stay all day?
No—feel free to come and go at any point while the event is open.
Tickets & entry
Do I need a ticket?
Yes. Tickets are available to purchase here. We have an early bird discount available up until the end of April. After that tickets are £7 per adult, kids go free!
Can I buy tickets on the day?
Yes, tickets will be £10 on the door.
Are children free?
Yes, children go free with a paying adult.
Getting there & parking

Where is Polefest held?
Polefest takes place at Polehampton Junior School, Kibblewhite Cresent, Twyford, RG10 9AX
Is there parking available?
Parking will be limited, so please walk if possible. Please be considerate of our neighbours if you do drive.
Can I cycle or walk?
Yes—walking and cycling are encouraged where possible. Please be considerate of neighbours.
On the day – what to bring

What should I bring with me?

Comfortable clothing and footwear

Camping or deck chairs

Weather‑appropriate items (sun cream, raincoats, hats)

Cash or card for stalls (we accept both)

Re-fillable water bottles
What can’t I bring? For everyone’s safety, the following are not permitted:

Alcohol & soft drinks – we rely on income from bar sales to help us raise money for the school!

Glass bottles

Fireworks, drones, or similar items

Dogs or other animals (except assistance dogs)

No food (except baby food, or special diet if our stalls can’t offer something that you can eat)

Gazebos or tents (though an umbrella for shade is fine!)

No open fires or disposable barbecues

No illegal drugs, legal highs or nitrous oxide.

No weapons
Food & drink

Will food and drink be available?
Yes—there will be a range of food and drink available to purchase on site. Please see our food section here for more info
Can I bring my own food?
We’ve worked with local food vendors to ensure there is something for everyone to enjoy. Plus the PTA raises money from food sales, so we would really rather you didn’t bring your own meals. If you have special dietary requirements or want to bring snacks for the little ones though, that is fine.

Absolutely—Polefest is designed for families and children of all ages.
Do children need to be supervised?
Yes—children remain the responsibility of their parent or guardian at all times.

Weather & cancellations

What happens if it rains?
Polefest will go ahead in most weather conditions, so please dress appropriately.
Will the event be cancelled in extreme weather?
In the unlikely event of cancellation, updates will be shared via the website, whatsapp and the email address you use to purchase tickets.

How can I get involved in Stewarding / Volunteering at the festival?

We are always on the hunt for amazing people to join our team. It takes an awful lot of hard work to run a festival, so whether you’re 16 or 80, please reach out to contactus@polehamptonpta.org

How can I play at the festival?
​
We love discovering new artists, we are a startup festival so we won’t be able to accommodate everyone, but we would love to hear from you! If you’d like to apply, please reach out to john@polehamptonpta.org.
