The Twyford Scarecrow Trail is back this half-term, with more than 60 imaginative scarecrows set to take over the village from Monday 26 October to Saturday 31 October 2026.

This year’s theme is Wildlife, with local residents, businesses and community groups creating their own unique scarecrow displays for families to discover.

Maps cost £3 and will be available throughout the event from:

• Grapevine Estate Agents – 9am–5pm

• Ola Coffee Shop – 8am–3pm

The trail is a great way for families to get out and explore Twyford during half-term, while enjoying the creativity of the local community.

Most importantly, the event is raising funds for the PTAs of Polehampton Infant & Junior Schools and The Colleton Primary School, helping to support educational initiatives that directly benefit local pupils.

With local businesses and community groups joining in, visitors can expect plenty of creative wildlife-themed displays, as well as opportunities to stop for food and refreshments along the way.

Grab a map, explore the village and see how many scarecrows you can spot – all while supporting two local schools.

If you want to sign up as a scarecrow creator please sign up here

before 5th October to get yourself on the map!
